George Borrow (1803-81) was among the most popular English authors between the 1890s and the 1930s. Recent years have seen a renewal of interest in him and his work, and there is now a George Borrow Society which publishes a biannual journal. All of Borrow’s major works are available online as part of Project Gutenberg. Visit the Project Gutenberg webpage here: http://www.gutenberg.net/index.shtml
